Kids Marine Zone
Back again in 2011 is the popular Kids Marine Zone. Suitable for kids aged 5 to 16 there are heaps of FREE activities on offer.
Climb the Rock Wall, learn how to tie a hook, throw a net like the pro's or cast a line where you want it to land!
The FREE sessions are run all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the show. They are hosted by 2 Bent Rods and are a great hands on way for kids to learn the basics of fishing.
Sessions commence from 10:30am and will be run on a rotational basis with groups starting every 10 to 15 minutes - this means that everyone gets a go. It takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete all stations of the clinic.
To join a session, head over to the kids fishing clinic (located in Hall 1) and register. Children will then wait in a designated area until it is their groups turn to start. When it's all over, parents are able to collect their children from the specially designated 'pick-up' zone.
